GridNode's Got it Right
by IDA Singapore Wave Team
Talk about a successful take-off! Take a look at GridTalk. The GridTalk product suite is very much in the software spotlight and it's easy to see why. The products enable businesses to efficiently exchange, share and synchronise critical business data using redundant, scalable networks, authorization and control features, and a secure platform for the exchange of sensitive business data. GridTalk also relies on XML for greater inter-operability. GridTalk was developed by GridNode, a software development company that opened its doors in 2000. Based in Singapore with offices in Taipei and Redwood City, California, GridNode is helping companies enhance their competitive edge. GridTalk is a peer-to-peer supply chain integration enabler that allows business partners to pass documents over the Internet. It allows businesses to establish connections with customers, suppliers, logistics companies, warehouses and banks. And because it interfaces with back-end systems, GridTalk helps automate data entry and the release and receipt of business documents. GridTalk user Seagate Technology International is impressed. "With GridTalk, we find that we are evaluating a solution that is newer, neater and more elegant," said The Chit Pin, senior director, e-Business, Seagate Technology International.
