BRINGS VALUE TO ITS CUSTOMERS WITH ROSETTANET-BASED SUPPLY CHAIN
Automates data exchange on GridNode RosettaNet Integration Solution with leading hard disk maker
REDWOOD CITY, CA - December 18, 2003 - GridNode, the leading independent provider of extended enterprise businessware, today announced that it has signed a contract with Hi-P International Limited (“Hi-P” or “the Company”), one of the leading plastics specialists and global providers of integrated contract manufacturing services to provide the GridNode B2B Integration Solution that will be used to automate the supply chain data exchange with a leading hard disk maker.
The GridNode B2B Integration Solution enables the connection of the user’s backend SAP business system directly with its customer’s enterprise systems. The enhanced connectivity will help users bring value to its customers with a streamlined supply network that benefits from real-time access to critical business-related information on product order management and invoice status. By providing end-to-end connectivity, the human data handling has been minimized, resulting in enhanced data integrity and accuracy.
Additionally, the GridNode Integration Solution also supports users’ requirements for RosettaNet-based data exchange formats, which are increasingly being adopted as an industry standard for secure electronic communication between high-tech providers of contract manufacturing services and their customers, suppliers and distribution partners.
