For each trading partner community, there is likely to be as many data formats
between them and within each organization.
GridMapper provides essential data translation capabilities through its
drag-and-drop graphical user interface.
GridMapper provides users with the ability to define the structure of a document
and to map data from one format to another. These tools are based on Extensible
Markup Language (XML) and related standards, such as Extensible Stylesheet
Language (XSL) Transformation (XSLT).
Using GridMapper, users can create specifications that are based on industry
standards and common schemas, or create specifications that are unique to their
organization. Users can create a map between the records and fields of two
different specifications. GridMapper then uses the map to process and translate
data into formats that can be shared within their own organization or with their
trading partner organizations.
